Restoring Your Eye’s Original Balance
Canthoplasty Revision & Reconstruction
Canthoplasty revision is a surgical procedure that restores the eyes to a normal, natural shape when the skin at the inner or outer corners of the eye has been excessively excised—resulting in an unnaturally overcorrected look—or when severe scarring or tissue elevation has occurred.

Epicanthoplasty Revision
An improper epicanthoplasty can create a harsh, sharp impression, leading to side effects and stress. When overcorrected, it often leaves unsightly scarring on the inner corners of the eyes.
This procedure reconstructs the scarred area using the surrounding remaining skin and repositions the internal ligament and muscle tissue to correct the shape of the inner corners of the eyes.

*Recommended when there is excessive exposure of the lacrimal caruncle (tear duct area).

- Those who have visible scars remaining after epicanthoplasty
- Those whose epicanthoplasty was overdone
- Those whose eyes look too close together (cross-eyed appearance) after epicanthoplasty
- Those whose red tissue (lacrimal caruncle) at the inner corner of the eye is excessively visible after epicanthoplasty

How Is Epicanthoplasty Revision Done?
01. 1:1 Consultation & Customized Design
02. Design after determining the desired amount of correction
03. Reduce the existing epicanthoplasty to the desired extent
04. Perform surgery considering the harmony with the double eyelid line and overall facial balance
05. Natural eyes and lines are achieved
Lateral Canthoplasty Revision
An increasing number of people are struggling with distorted eye shapes after undergoing lateral canthoplasty procedures—often referred to by various names such as outer corner lowering or lateral extension.
If the outer corner of the eye has taken on an unnatural “C-shape” or if the red mucous membrane is excessively exposed, the scar tissue must be removed and the position of the outer corner adjusted.

*Recommended when there is excessive exposure of the mucous membrane/lacrimal area.
