How is Under-Eye Fat Repositioning Done?
1. A customized surgical plan is designed according to each individual’s degree and shape of under-eye fat.
2. The conjunctiva on the inner side of the eye, where scarring is not visible, is incised and the tear trough ligament is dissected to create space.
3. A micro-incision is made in the conjunctiva to remove and reposition the unevenly accumulated fat, followed by septal reinforcement and preservation of the aegyo-sal muscle.
4. If needed, fat grafting to the anterior cheek adds dimension, completing a smooth and radiant under-eye area.
